AT THE COMMERCIAL PORT OF YANBU WE ARE REALIZING THE WHEAT STORAGE SILO OF 120,000 TONS

In the port of Yanbu (Saudi Arabia) we are completing an important and technologically advanced installation. The wheat storage silo, commissioned to Ocrim by the Haif Company for SAGO, will allow the automation of the process of receiving and storing imported wheat, directly from ships, with a capacity of 1000 T/h.

NEW GOALS FOR DURUM WHEAT, SYMBOL OF MADE IN ITALY

The survey on the durum wheat genome sequence, recently appeared on Nature Genetics journal, was debated at the conference organized by CNR, CREA and the University of Bologna. A great result that will create new opportunities for the agri-food sector.

VILLAGGIO COlDIRETTI (COLDIRETTI VILLAGE) ARRIVED IN MILAN, INVOLVING MORE THAN 700 THOUSAND CITIZENS

For three days (5-7 July) the medieval heart of Milan hosted the “Villaggio contadino” (Village Farmer) of Coldiretti. Thousands of farmers from all Italy’s regions have transformed an area of 200 thousand square meters into a huge farm, an expression of productive excellences in the country. Among the exhibitors there were also Ocrim and Bonifiche Ferraresi with “Le Stagioni d’Italia” brand.

BONIFICHE FERRARESI INAUGURATES THE SARDINIAN ESTATE

Twenty months of intense work and major investments by the BF SPA group have given productivity back to the estate in Sardinia – 1,100 hectares of organic farming (wheat, legumes, vegetables and officinal herbs). On 7 June, the BF Sarde project was inaugurated with an open-day in the new headquarters in Marrubiu (Oristano, Italy).

OCRIM-PAGLIERANI GUESTS AT THE INAUGURATION OF ST. MARTIN’S MILL, KRAKOW

Ocrim-Paglierani attended the inauguration of the new milling plant of the Polish Grain Plant “PZZ” in Krakow Jsc company as supplier of packaging and palletizing lines. During the ceremony the CEO Mrs. Lucyna Jedrzejczyk, had words of appreciation for the contribution of Ocrim-Paglierani and presented a plaque of recognition to our Chairman Sergio Antolini.

I AM TITANIUM. OCRIM PRESENTS ITS INNOVATIVE ROLLS

Great interest in the presentation shown to the GRAPAS and Global Milling Conference. Our area manager Luigi Caterina illustrated the results of the Ocrim R&D Department on the use of titanium rolls: the high resistance to wear guarantees excellent performance in terms of economic savings, lower maintenance costs and greater plant yield.

PINOCCHIO’S ARK ON SHOW AT THE AUGEO ART SPACE

An unusual exhibition entitled “Pinocchio’s ark”, exhibited for the first time in a non-museum space, was inaugurated on last Saturday. There are 35 portraits of the animals that meet Pinocchio during his adventures. The artist Filippo Sassòli drew them just as Carlo Collodi had described them in the first edition of the novel, in 1883. The exhibition will be open until 6 July, at the AUGEO ART SPACE gallery of Rimini.
