In Saudi Arabia, privatizations and upgrading of flour milling plants strengthen the country’s expansion policy in the production and processing of cereals. OCRIM has been awarded the contract from the MC2 company (Second Milling Company) for the upgrading and revamping of C Mill in Riyadh. This confirms the important over 40-years-long relationship.

Last weekend (5-7 October) the “Villaggio Contadino” (Farm Village) event, organized by the largest Italian agricultural organization Coldiretti, arrived in Rome. The contemporary art gallery AUGEO ART SPACE starts the 2018-2019 season with the solo exhibition of Leonardo Blanco, inaugurated last Saturday, September 29. “Vasi comunicanti” is the title of the exhibition that the artist offers in an original combination of creative inspiration and the same morphology of the Augeo spaces. The works will be exhibited until 10 November.
The OCRIM R&D team, in collaboration with the University of Parma, has found the solution to fight cross-contamination phenomena and block the propagation of microorganisms within plansifters. The innovative product made by OCRIM has passed all the tests and has already been successfully tested by several customers. Further research is underway to use this technology in other strategic areas of milling plants.
Just a few days (September 21) at the inauguration of the Business and Production Center of Santa Caterina (Cortona, Arezzo – Italy). It will be the new headquarters of Bonifiche Ferraresi, one of the 21 Leopoldine farm buildings that are part of the restoration project to bring back to life the historical buildings of Valdichiana. The Center includes an innovative laboratory for research and processing of medicinal plants.
