OUR AUTHENTIC NATURE

Dear friends and customers of this great family, we started life in the early twentieth century and have always been true to our roots.

So what is our shared goal? To continue to be original.

What is the secret of our success? Doing normal things in an unusual way.

We’re continuing our journey, trying to be the best version of ourselves, not a copy of someone or something else.

The 500 workers of the big OCRIM and PAGLIERANI family wish you all the best for the festive period, and a New Year marked by the spirit of Strength and Beauty!

“Originality consists of returning to the origin.” (Antoni Gaudì)

A CRAFT THAT BECOMES AN ART FORM: THE MILLER

Browsing through “L’Argonauta”, it is interesting to find out how and when the figure of the miller was born. The miller makes an appearance at various points in history and his role is reflected in the living conditions of society at the time. He was envied by those who worked the land and given the blame during times of famine and shortages of bread. The miller also, however, gained experience and knowledge that could be passed down through the generations. His path in history was difficult and has often been given little recognition, but has led him to become an expert, sensitive and essential figure today.  (Front cover: “Le Mani” by Filippo Manfroni).
