THE ITALIAN AGRICULTURE IS EXHIBITED IN ROME

Last weekend (5-7 October) the “Villaggio Contadino” (Farm Village) event, organized by the largest Italian agricultural organization Coldiretti, arrived in Rome. In the evocative setting of the Circus Maximus, in an area of 80,000 square meters, among dozens of laboratories and hundreds of exhibitors, young and old have experienced and “enjoyed” the great Italian agri-food heritage. The educational initiative has been sponsored by the Ministries for agricultural policies, for the environment and for cultural assets and activities.

LEONARDO BLANCO PRESENTS “VASI COMUNICANTI” AT THE AUGEO ART SPACE

The contemporary art gallery AUGEO ART SPACE starts the 2018-2019 season with the solo exhibition of Leonardo Blanco, inaugurated last Saturday, September 29. “Vasi comunicanti” is the title of the exhibition that the artist offers in an original combination of creative inspiration and the same morphology of the Augeo spaces. The works will be exhibited until 10 November.

CEREAL PROCESSING: A NEW ANTIMICROBIAL THERAPY

The OCRIM R&D team, in collaboration with the University of Parma, has found the solution to fight cross-contamination phenomena and block the propagation of microorganisms within plansifters. The innovative product made by OCRIM has passed all the tests and has already been successfully tested by several customers. Further research is underway to use this technology in other strategic areas of milling plants.

GETTING READY FOR THE RIBBON CUTTING

Just a few days (September 21) at the inauguration of the Business and Production Center of Santa Caterina (Cortona, Arezzo – Italy). It will be the new headquarters of Bonifiche Ferraresi, one of the 21 Leopoldine farm buildings that are part of the restoration project to bring back to life the historical buildings of Valdichiana. The Center includes an innovative laboratory for research and processing of medicinal plants.

THE BRAND “LE STAGIONI D’ITALIA” IS ON AIR

With a TV commercial that stages the fields of Jolanda di Savoia estate (FE), the second phase of the launch campaign of the “Le Stagioni d’Italia” brand started. This range of food products -characterized by a short food supply chain and produced by Bonifiche Ferraresi – includes pasta, rice and infusions, but soon legumes and cereals will also be available. The production is running at full capacity to complete the distribution in the Italian GDO stores.

MUD RUN: 10K RUNNING, CLIMBING AND OBSTACLES. WELCOME TO THE ANTI-STRESS EVENT
