The successful collaboration between OCRIM and IAOM (International Association of Operative Millers) continues positively. In the OCRIM Milling Technology School a specialized course held by Mr. Jeff Gwirtz, the IAOM professor. Two weeks – from 12th to 23th March – of dense lessons and practical exercises on the principles of milling.
OCRIM has signed an agreement with the “neighbour” Arvedi: this year the Acciaieria Arvedi, based in Cremona, will supply to OCRIM the raw material for the production of the new rollermills and plansifters. A further step in the Full Italian Made philosophy, guaranteeing a high-quality standard, traceability and sustainable choices while respecting the environment.
The “Tuscany project” of Bonifiche Ferraresi – Italy’s largest farm holding – for the Valdichiana’s agri-food and tourism development, proceeds with a fast pace. Among the foreseen interventions, the restoration of 21 “Leopoldine” is already underway. “Leopoldine” are historic farmhouses in the province of Arezzo.
The collective exhibit of the most famous international masters of photography was held at the Augeo Art Space. It is the tribute that Paglierani company wanted to offer to the city of Rimini to celebrate the birthday of Federico Fellini. Among the events scheduled for the occasion also the long-awaited reopening of the historic Fulgor cinema, immortalized in the”Amarcord” film.
Augeo Art Space presents “La pelle del colore” (“The color skin”) exhibition. The works of Giovanni Lombardini and Edward Evans win over for the chromatic suggestions and for the research of experimental pictorial techniques. Two artists, two unmistakable styles and a common language that unites Rimini and the United States. An exhibition not to be missed that will be displayed February 17th to April 7th.
The avant-garde research and training centre, created thanks to the strategic partnership between OCRIM and Bonifiche Ferraresi, is already in full swing. Some prestigious contributions come from institutions, companies and universities. Customers experience the processing phases of the raw material in the first person.
